Fencing Works:
Part of MSAC’s northern fence and its immediate surrounds are aged and in deteriorating condition. Works to replace the fence are required to meet the venue’s ongoing operational, safety and security requirements and to improve presentation.
This work will improve security at MSAC with updated entry and exit points and will address risks associated with access to water services and fire hydrants. We will also replace damaged and cracking footpaths, build new retaining walls and update garden beds to improve the area’s aesthetic. Click here for futher information on the project.
First Aid Room:
We’re building a new, two-bed first aid room in MSAC’s main reception area. The room will be equipped with the necessary services and space to provide appropriate treatment to injured patrons.
Aside from visible hoarding fence enclosing the work site, there will be associated building works noise. Where possible, we’ll keep this to a minimum and contained to the specific work area. At times, equipment and materials will be carted through the main reception area to the worksite.
Some lockers in the Aquatics area will be unavailable during construction.
Construction is due to finish by 26 September.
This project is part of our ongoing commitment to make MSAC a safe venue for all of our users.
Boom gate upgrade:
There will be updates coming to how members and patrons access our car parks, with works happening for a ticketless entry and exit system. Please stay tuned for further information as it comes to hand.
