The Easter school holidays are coming up soon, and there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained throughout at State Sport Centres. Plus, there’s a host of events happening around our venues that will provide a host of entertainment for the whole family.

Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre
MSAC School Holiday Program
Kids will have the opportunity to try a variety of sports and swimming in a non-competitive and all-inclusive environment. They’ll get a chance to try new skills, step out of their comfort zone and socialise under the supportive supervision of our passionate and experienced Children’s Programs team.
Running from April 7 – 17, spaces are limited so get in quick to book via our Programs page.
*Please note that due to pool refurbishments, our Learn to Swim program will not be running School Holiday Intensive this April.
Melbourne Central Basketball Association Holiday Sessions
Whether it’s a shooting masterclass, high performance opportunities, or a inspiring all-girls camp, there’s something for every Basketball lover at MSAC.
There’s five different sessions to choose from, and bookings can be made via their website.
Chase Basketball Holiday Camp
Join Chase Basketball for fully supervised Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Level Camps for players wanting to develop their skills in a team environment, or work through their shooting or ball-handling skills one on one!

Melbourne United Holiday Programs
For the basketball lover who is ready to take the next step, join Melbourne United for their Talent ID Camp, or Next Gen Junior Academy Camp. These are perfect for those looking to build confidence in their game and learn drills and skills that can help talented youngsters join the MU Basketball Academy. 2025 Australian Junior Squash Open
After continuing to grow in popularity, the Australian Junior Open will host the first of a three-year deal at MSAC from April 13 – 17.
Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events Steve Dimopolous has said, “Melbourne has become the home of the Australian Junior Open and our world-class Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre is the perfect venue to host this fantastic event over the next three years.”

2025 Australian Artistic Swimming Championships
See the very best Artistic swimmers in the country this April! Artistic swimming is a hybrid form of swimming, gymnastics, and dance, and it’s free for patrons to come and watch these performances over the course of the event. Head to www.artisticswimming.org.au for more information.

Victorian Men’s and Mixed Netball National Championships
You can find the best Men’s and Mixed Netballers in the country right here in Melbourne this Easter! The 2025 Australian Men’s & Mixed Netball Association (AMMNA) National Championships will be contested at the State Netball Centre, Parkville between April 13 – 19.
It’s been five years since the Championships have been held in Victoria, so get your tickets to see the best netballers in the country here.
Melbourne United Junior Basketball Camp
Get ready for two jam-packed days of basketball fun! Kids aged 6-12 are invited to join Melbourne United for an exciting camp filled with thrilling games, skill-building sessions. This beginner-friendly camp is all about having fun, learning new skills, and making new friends and awesome memories. This camp will run from 10am – 4pm from April 7 – 8. Designed to improve the skills of young players, this Netball Camp is structured to cover all facets of the game, and you’ll get a chance to meet sporting idols all while making new friends. South East Melbourne Phoenix Heartland Hoops Holiday Camps
SEMP’s Heartland Hoops basketball camps are a great way to learn new skills, make new friends and enjoy the game of basketball in a safe and fun environment.
These camps are run over six hours for kids aged between 5-12, with our experienced coaches on hand each step of the way to ensure your child gets the best experience possible.

Phoenix Rep Ready U12s School Holiday Basketball Camp
SEMP’s Rep Ready basketball camps are a great way to learn the vital skills, language and basketball concepts required to compete at the representative level.
These camps are run over the course of three hours for kids aged between 8-11, where our experienced coaches will focus on covering high-level skills, playmaking, fast break execution and basketball terminology.
