Event information: VLC Championships and ZÁTOPEK:10

This weekend there will be two major events happening at State Sport Centres in Albert Park.

This weekend there will be two major events happening at State Sport Centres in Albert Park.

MSAC will be buzzing with swimmers from all over the State as the Mattioli Victorian Long Course Championships take place from Saturday 14 until Wednesday 18 December. We are anticipating high numbers of people in venue, and encourage you to allow extra time if you’re coming in for swim lessons or group fitness classes. We recommend, where possible, to catch public transport to MSAC to ease traffic congestion, as parking will be limited.

The No. 12 and the No. 96 tram will drop you right at MSAC’s door. Please plan your trip via ptv.vic.gov.au.

On Track Nights ZATOPEK:10 will be lighting up Lakeside Stadium from 1pm on Saturday 14 December, and there’ll be plenty of fans out in force to see Paris Olympians out on the track well into the evening. Once again, we encourage visitors and spectators to use public transport to get to Lakeside Stadium via the No. 12 tram.

Thankyou for your patience while we play host to two great sporting events over what promises to be an incredibly exciting weekend in our venues!
