Welcome to season 2025, what are you most looking forward to about this year?
I’m really looking forward to this group of girls. We have some core four players returning, but then we also have some exciting new faces. I think we’re definitely gonna be a threat in the competition, and we also have a great new coach. So, really, it’s a season of change and excitement.
You won the 2024 premiership here at the State Netball and Hockey Centre in Parkville, talk us through the winning moments of that game?
We went to game three, which, I guess was very stressful, but also super amazing because we won that championship through hard work and determination. And like you said, it was here at the State Netball Hockey Centre and it was amazing. We had our family, our friends, we had the Flyers fans. And to be out there on that court with everyone who loves us and supporting us, getting that win and holding that trophy up is, just something unmatched.
You train out at the State Basketball Centre in Knox, how have the facilities there helped you prepare for the season?
Returning this season at the State Basketball Centre, it’s been amazing. The facilities definitely create such a professional environment. With the gym, the recovery, the basketball courts, So for us, being able to turn up to work every day and train and and get better as a team, in those facilities is something that I do really feel lucky that we have.
