Staying warm at MSAC this Winter

We know that the cold weather isn’t the best motivation, but did you know there are loads of benefits of still keeping your health and wellness routine in check, even in the cooler months.

We know that the cold weather isn’t the best motivation, but did you know there are loads of benefits of still keeping your health and wellness routine in check, even in the cooler months.

Our team at MSAC don’t rest over the Winter period, and we invite you to come inside and stay warm, with plenty of options to keep you snug and healthy.

Sweat it out in the Gym

Get your blood flowing with a session at the gym, fighting off the winter blues with some Cardio. Our hearts have to work harder to pump blood around our bodies in the cold, and in doing so, improves cardiovascular health.

Performance Members can book in their 6-week consultation with our Gym Staff via your account on the Client Portal.

Steam your way to good health

The cold weather may have us feeling stuck and slow, and getting inside the steam room or sauna can improve circulation, reduce stress, strengthen your immune system and keep your skin glowing!

Please note users must be 16 years or older

Flow your way to good health on the mat

MSAC offers hot yoga and hot mat pilates, and getting sweaty on the mat has loads of benefits. The warm room means your body can adapt to different postures and shapes with ease. You may burn more calories in a heated class, increasing those happy endorphins to get you through the cold days.

You can view our class availability and book via the Client Portal.

Just keep swimming

We know it’s hard to get in and out of the pool when it’s cold and you’re wet, but keeping a regular swimming practice up throughout winter can keep the motivation high for when the weather does warm up. And of course, regular exercise like swimming keeps the body healthy, fighting off colds and infections. Plus, our pools are heated to a balmy 28 degrees, meaning you won’t even realise it’s cold outside!
