The Charity Shootout is Helping Hoops annual fundraising event. This year’s event celebrates 15 years of Helping Hoops! If you’re passionate about basketball and want to support a great cause, this one’s for you! Join us over a weekend of fun, fundraising and celebrating the best of community and hoops.
The challenge: Shoot as many free throws as you can in 15-minutes while raising money for Helping Hoops.
How to get involved
Sign Up: Register to create your fundraising profile, select your preferred location and time slot.
Fundraise: Share your profile with everyone you know to maximise your fundraising efforts
Practice: 15 minutes of straight shooting is no joke, start practicing!
Shoot: On May 24 & 25, come to MSAC or your local hoop and see how many free throws you can make in 15 minutes.

Where: Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) – across the whole weekend
Can’t make it to MSAC? If you can’t make it there, you can shoot anywhere with a hoop, just grab your friends to help rebound and count your shots, select shoot in your local area in the sign up form.
Your involvement supports free basketball programs for children and young people in Naarm. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with community, contribute to a meaningful cause, celebrate our 15th Birthday AND the legacy of our Founder, Adam McKay.
