2026 Oceania Judo Championships

The 2026 Oceania Judo Championships will take place in Melbourne over the weekend of April 18 and 19 at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.

This peak event marks the return of a standalone Continental Championship for the Oceania region after several years of a joint championship with the Pan-American Judo Federation. Members of the Oceania Judo Union include judo organisations from Australia, New Zealand, America Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Guam, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Norfolk Island, Northern Marianas, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, and Vanuatu.

Kicking off on Friday, April 17 with the Kata Competition, the program then proceeds on Saturday, April 18 with Cadets, Juniors and Seniors divisions, as well as a Cadet and Junior Mixed Teams event. On Sunday, the Senior Men & Women take to the mats, individual divisions followed by a Senior Mixed Teams event and the Military and Police Teams Event.

A single day pass just $20 and a two-day pass is $30. On Friday, spectators can enjoy the kata competition free-of-charge. You can buy tickets here
