Venue closure: 2-3 August

Please be aware of an upcoming full venue closure of MSAC overnight on Sunday, 2 August, until early the following morning.

We are currently installing solar power infrastructure at MSAC. To complete this work and safely connect our solar power to the grid, CitiPower will need a period where mains power is shut off.

While we have timed these works to minimise disruption to the greatest extent possible, there will be unavoidable impacts to opening hours and operations.

What’s happening?

MSAC will close from 8pm on Sunday 2 August, with pools closing 30 minutes earlier at 7.30pm. Power will be switched off at 8.30pm. We expect this disruption to last 12 hours, with power restored early on Monday 3 August.

Dry areas, including stadiums and gym will reopen from 9am, with group fitness classes resuming at 9.30am.

As pools will take up to 4 hours to reheat following the closure, our aquatics areas will reopen from 1pm.

Any classes or activities scheduled during the closure period will not go ahead.
