Social and economic value report

SSCT has recently received the Social and Economic Value Report of State Sport Centres report from BDO.

The report quantifies the significant impact our 4 venues have for the state of Victoria by enabling access to world-class facilities for sports participants of all levels – from international events to community levels.

Some headline figures include:

• $363 million in annual social and economic value provided to the state of Victoria
• Supporting 2,221 full-time equivalent jobs
• Welcoming 3.1 million total attendees to our four venues
• $28 million in social benefits through community sport
• Hosting 418 major and minor sports events and more than 900 school bookings
