Pool Access Update and Change This April at MSAC

In April, we have many exciting events coming to MSAC that will take up room in our indoor pool area, meaning lap swimming will be limited or unavailable on certain dates.

On 1 April, MSAC will close the outdoor pool for several months to undergo essential works. While this pool is closed, our indoor and 25m leisure lap pools will be the only aquatic spaces available for lap swimming.

HYDROTHERAPY AND WAVE POOL CHANGES

We’re happy to announce we’re temporarily changing Hydrotherapy and Wave pool opening hours for the month of April.

We’ve listened to your feedback and suggestions and are pleased to be offering you extended hours in certain aquatic spaces.

Beginning 1 April

  • The Hydrotherapy Pool will open from 6:00 AM
  • The Wave Pool will open earlier at 6:00 AM (waves will begin at 4:00 PM)

This trial period allows us to assess demand and make informed decisions about future operations.

By opening earlier, we’re ensuring access to our pools amongst the ongoing refurbishments and supporting our members who prefer early morning sessions.

We’ll be monitoring demand and gathering feedback to guide future improvements.

Please note this change is in place from 1 – 30 April only. Attendance and feedback will be assessed before making any further adjustments.

We encourage you to take advantage of the earlier opening and appreciate your support during this period of improvement! If you have any questions, please see our friendly team at the main reception, or pass on any feedback via our website here
