Richard Sleight joins MSAC as Head Coach
Richard joins Melbourne Vicentre after many years coaching in Brisbane, where he’s coached at some of Australia’s top clubs and was named the Australian Age Group Coach of the Year for 2022/23
State Sport Centres are excited to welcome Richard Sleight as the new Head Coach of our squad programs at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC).
Richard joins Melbourne Vicentre after many years coaching in Brisbane, where he’s coached at some of Australia’s top clubs and was named the Australian Age Group Coach of the Year for 2022/23. His experience includes coaching at the Junior Pan Pacs, Youth Commonwealth Games, Oceania Games, and Junior World Champs.
This marks the beginning of an exciting partnership between State Sport Centres and Melbourne Vicentre, creating a world-class pathway from Learn to Swim through to High-Performance — all under one roof!
